She is also co-founder of Citizens for Ethics Reform, a coalition that worked to pass a referendum that established an independent ethics board in Tallahassee.

During the organization’s first three years, Nicole served as the organization’s senior advisor. Since its conception, Nicole has remained passionate about public policy reform in Florida. Prior to Integrity Florida, Nicole worked as a graphic designer on numerous political campaigns for statewide and local candidates. Currently, Nicole spends her time advising political campaigns and raising her two young children.

Bonnie Silvestri is the Ethics and Compliance Specialist and Countywide ADA Coordinator for Sarasota County Government. Previously, she was the Director of Strategic Communications for the Office of Community Engagement and Partnerships for the University of South Florida.
She previously served as Senior Fellow for Arts, Culture, and Civic Engagement for the Institute for Public Policy and Leadership at the University of South Florida Sarasota-Manatee. She has taught undergraduate courses in Interdisciplinary Social Sciences at USFSM since 2007. In 2015, Bonnie received the statewide Graham-Frey Civic Award from Florida Campus Compact for her achievements in her work in civic engagement.
Before moving to Florida, Bonnie was the founding executive director of the Judicial Campaign Ethics Center of the New York State Unified Court System, which provides ethics advice to judicial candidates and develops the Judicial Voters Guide. Prior to working with the state court system, she served as special counsel to the New York City Conflicts of Interest Board, where she advised and trained hundreds of public officials and employees.
